The second generation of the BMW M4 is off to a somewhat rough start, which may or may not be related to the highly controversial size and shape of its kidney grille. It is expected that the 2023 BMW M4 CSL will undergo a serious diet, which will see its rear seats go the way of the dodo and most aluminum parts of the car replaced by CFRP to both lighten the car and lower its center of gravity.
The G20/G21 3 Series family is bound to receive a mid-lifecycle refreshment right in time for 2023 model year. To be precise, BMW will gradually roll out the new BMW iDrive 8 infotainment architecture, following its premiere this year on the new iX and i4. Starting 2022, more models are expected to receive the new OS, complete with the revamped digital interface and the classy Curved Display.
The upcoming 2022 BMW iX electric crossover was spotted earlier this week in South Carolina. The fifth-gen eDrive units make 30-percent more power than any previous BMW electric motor, while operating at 93-percent efficiency. The BMW iX xDrive50 is also said to have a 0-60 mph time of under five seconds, though BMW was unspecific.
It’s only natural to see the M4 and the M4 Competition being compared to basically anything with four wheels on the road today. We’re not being told what exactly happened but, they had to improvise and the only one who answered their call was a Renault Megane RS Trophy-R. Now, for those living outside of Europe, this won’t be a familiar name.
In this new video from GerCollector, we actually get an up close look at the BMW M5 CS, and we get to see it driven and reviewed. This is the first video review of the M5 CS, and it doesn’t disappoint. During a standing 0-100 km/h run, the BMW M5 CS was able to hit a very impressive 2.92 seconds.

The Audi RS7, the BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe, and the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S are heavyweights in price and performance. The RS7 is our underdog, with 591 horses, but it’s also the least expensive. If a car could roll its eyes, the M8 would do so the second you put the steering in Sport mode.
Although full electric cars and internal-combustion engines with mild electric assist are becoming more common, plug-in hybrids, particularly with usable range, are still fairly uncommon. This is especially evident in the luxury market where the 2021 BMW X5 xDrive45e competes.
From what we’ve seen and heard, the new G82 BMW M4 is a supremely impressive car. To find out for sure, Joe Achilles went and put both cars back-to-back to see which is actually best. The F82 BMW M4 had its Competition Package, which means it had BMW’s older S55 3.0 liter twin-turbo I6 with 450 PS, 406 lb-ft of torque, a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, rear-wheel drive, and the specific car in the video was also running Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Regardless of whether you prefer a performance car that sends its power through the front, rear, or all four wheels, there are heaps of options out there and among the very finest are the Ford Fiesta ST, BMW M2 CS, and Toyota GR Yaris.
Most BMW 3 Series customers in Europe opt for diesel model variants, for their low-down torque and increased fuel efficiency. Diesel models are still typically a bit slower than their gasoline variants, due to lower horsepower figures. Specifically, if you’re an owner of an F30 BMW 330d, a simple RaceChip tune can add just over 50 horsepower and almost 100 Nm of torque.
The BMW i3 BEV has made great additions to police forces throughout the world, having been used in police forces in Los Angeles, Italy, Switzerland and Germany to name just a few. It’s ideal for traffic enforcement or other jobs that involve city use. There really is not room in the back to haul someone who is arrested, so they are a compliment to a Police force. The BMW i3 is currently in its 8th year of production and has a 43 kWh battery with an approximate range of 153 miles or 245 km.
Before the new BMW M3 and M4 models came out, the blue and white roundel company decided to start a series of videos focusing on certain bits of the car, in order to explain what is going on under the sheet metal a bit better for the customers.
